Who is Dr Logan Bennett? Home and Away’s new doctor arrives

Dr. Logan Bennett, portrayed by Harley Bonner, made his debut on Tuesday’s Australian edition of Home and Away. What is the name of the new doctor that is causing a stir in Summer Bay?

Fans of Neighbours will recognise Harley Bonner, but he’s now on the opposite side of the screen, as he joins Home and Away.

The actor, who rose to prominence as Josh Willis in a rival Melbourne drama, is now a regular member of Summer Bay, portraying seasoned trauma surgeon Logan Bennett.

From the start, the new doctor had a major influence on one Summer Bay resident, as he fought to save Dean’s (Patrick O’Connor) life. After the automobile accident, his knowledge and “special set of abilities” proved helpful, as he kept Dean’s spirits up by asking him questions about Jai and his family while battling to maintain his heart rate.

Harley’s casting as Logan Bennett was originally reported in March after fans spotted him filming at Sydney’s Palm Beach, which is where the show’s outdoor sequences are filmed in real life.

Logan is a “charismatic trauma surgeon who rushes to Summer Bay to help save the life of one of the township’s loved ones,” according to a press release.

Harley described his character as capable, compassionate, intelligent, and fun, as well as a bit of a nomad, and teased that “he’s seen and done a lot in his life, some of which he tries his best to avoid getting into.”

“I’m interested to see what we find out as time goes on.”

Except for the fact that Logan is expected to become a regular feature in the beachfront community, we don’t know much about what’s in store for him in his first few weeks in the bay.

He also appears to be at odds with Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee), and it’s indicated that “Tori fights with Logan as Dean and Nikau fight for their lives” in tomorrow’s episode.

He’s also planning a relationship with Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir).

While watching filming at Palm Beach, Sydney-based fans and guests of the Home and Away Location Tour frequently get indications about forthcoming storylines months before they appear.

Over the previous several months, Emily Weir and Harley Bonner have recorded a lot of sequences together, and a trailer published before the Olympic return offers us our first look at the two together.

As they converse on the beach, she informs him, “You are full of surprises.”

“I’m only getting started!” says the narrator.

” he responds flirtatiously.

It’s unclear whether he’ll provide her the happiness she so badly craves following her separation with Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) and miscarriage.

Harley, 29, established a name for himself as Josh Willis in Neighbours from 2013 to 2016. He joins a long line of Australian performers who have lived in both Summer Bay and Ramsay Street by switching to Home and Away.

Rebekah Elmaloglou and Kip Gamblin, his onscreen parents from Erinsborough, also appeared in Home and Away as Sophie Simpson and Scott Hunter, respectively.

Bennett highlighted the contrasts between Josh Willis and Logan Bennett with TV Week.

He says, “Logan and Josh are completely different people.” “Back in the day, I liked playing Josh, and he was a fantastic outlet for the more dominating elements of my personality.

“I was a little more fiery between the ages of 21 and 24. It’s a whole other ballgame when you’re thirty. Still fiery, but Logan allows me to be cheeky and fun on a daily basis. He’s been a genuine pleasure.”

When his casting was originally revealed, Harley told Seven News how thrilled he was to be joining another another Australian drama institution.

He said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve had the opportunity of working on a programme that’s such a hallmark of Australian television,”

“I’m glad to report I picked it up a lot faster than expected.” I like working on series like Home and Away, and I can’t wait for Australia to meet my character.”

On Tuesday, September 14th, Dr. Logan Bennett will premiere in the United Kingdom.
