The wedding of Sarah Roberts and James Stewart feels like it happened yesterday, and that’s probably because their love hasn’t waned since they tied the knot.
So it’s no wonder that the lovely pair is even more in love two years later, and fans can now feel a bit closer to them thanks to the publication of never-before-seen photos from their wedding day.
Laura Vazquez, the makeup artist from Home and Away, created Sarah’s beauty look for her first wedding at Coogee Beach.
Laura paid a heartfelt homage to her two best pals on Instagram to commemorate their anniversary.
Two close-up photographs of the makeup were sent with the message, as well as a lovely moment between Sarah and James, who is staring lovingly at his wife.
“Two years ago today, I was delighted to glam up my lovely friend @sarahroberts for her Australian Wedding to @jamesstewart ” Laura began the touching caption.
“It was a very unforgettable day.” It was a day I’ll never forget. Lovebirds, happy two-year anniversary! She went on to say, “Love You #Hair #Makeup #Wedding #Beauty #Glam.”
Sarah expressed her thanks for her friend, former coworker, and makeup artist in the comments area, as one might anticipate.
“The most special day, naaaa Thank you, my darling, for always being there xxx, “she penned
“@sarahroberts I’ll always be there “Laura responded.
Sarah re-posted a video Laura uploaded on her own Instagram account, which showed a 180-degree look at the makeup.
In 2017, Sarah and James met on the set of Home and Away, and fans weren’t shocked when they announced their engagement a year later.
Not one, but two weddings were held in 2019 for the pair.
The first wedding was a simple ceremony at Coogee in Sydney for the official signing of the paperwork, followed by lavish festivities at an Irish castle.
James has previously stated that the weddings were a “new beginning” for the pair, allowing them to build a lifetime of memories.
“It feels like a foundation was built to achieve something incredible.”
“Who knows what will happen in the following six, twelve, eighteen, or twenty-four months?” But whatever it is, it will be well-supported, and it will be a lot simpler,” he added.
