Even though Matt didn’t make it to the conclusion of the tournament, his appearance wowed the audience, and his star has been rising ever since.

He got a modelling contract and two acting agents as a result of his appearance on the reality program.

Matt talked to The Mud Mag on what it meant to be living his goal.

“I’ve known since I was a child that my path to success would be unusual. When I first found the arts, I felt like I was one of a kind. “I felt this was a trip I wanted to follow,” he told the publication.

Matt is close to former Home and Away star Mark Furze, who participated on The Voice in the same season as him.

Mark was well known for his role as Ric Dalby, which he played from 2004 until 2008.
