Tammin Sursok has revealed if she’ll return to her role as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away in the future.
During an Instagram Q&A with fans on Friday, the 37-year-old actress discussed her experience on the long-running Australian drama.
When one fan claimed her character Dani’should return to the Bay,’ she invited followers to express their ‘unpopular thoughts’ with her on her narrative.
‘I believe her time is up,’ Tammin wrote, adding an emoji of tears and laughter.
‘Where did she go anyway?’ she added.
During an interview with New Idea in May, the South African-born Australian actress commented on whether she will return to Home and Away.
Tammin stated that she would perform a ‘cameo,’ but that she believes Dani’s plot is complete. On the programme, her character Dani was sentenced to jail.
‘It’s where I started and what provided me everything in my career – I don’t know where my life would’ve gone if it wasn’t for that programme,’ Tammin added.
‘I’m glad for the experience and the chance, so I’d absolutely do a cameo,’ she added.
Tammin, on the other hand, feels Dani’s narrative has come to an end.
‘I don’t believe I’d reprise that role for a long time because I think her narrative has been told and the character has been completed,’ she added.
Between 2000 and 2004, Tammin played Dani in 311 episodes of the famous serial opera. She began acting as her alter ego when she was 15 years old.
The actress is presently in Brisbane, Queensland, filming a film called You, Me, and the Penguins.
Tammin plays a San Diego-based Animal Discovery Institute outreach manager who is compelled to fly to Australia.
The cast includes Madeleine West, Nic Hardcastle, and Jason Wilder.
