Here’s what’s coming up next in Neighbours.
Chloe admits to a sex mistake
When Chloe can’t bear coming home, she goes to the vineyard and enlists the help of David and Aaron. She had no idea that Leo is waiting for her with a bottle of wine. One thing leads to another, and Chloe finds herself waking up surrounded by evidence of the previous night, including donning Leo’s clothing. Did they share a bed?! She has no idea and is worried because all the signs point to yes. She walks home with her tail between her legs, and when Nicolette asks a few probing questions, the dam bursts and the truth spills out. Nicolette is shocked to find that her girlfriend has cheated on her, and she is even more shocked to learn that David and Aaron have lied on her behalf.
Nic flees the scene
Worse worse, when Paul gets the short end of the stick, he scares Nicolette into keeping her part of the bargain. Nicolette is heartbroken that everyone has turned against her despite the fact that she has done nothing wrong, and she realises she has no choice except to flee, despite the fact that she is significantly pregnant.
Karl gets jelly
Karl and Jane are ecstatic about the Shorts and Briefs film festival’s local talent category, especially when they see the prize money – a not-to-be-sniffed-at $5000. Karl believes he has it all figured out until he discovers what Jane and Clive have planned; it’s much beyond his wildest dreams. Jane is on her way to producing her short film by channelling her inner creative beast, but Clive isn’t certain he’s cut out to be her leading man. When he sees Toadie’s abilities, though, he has an idea.
Ned is no longer in the lead
Ned is still battling Levi, but in an odd turn of events, he will not only witness his adversary draw ahead, but he will also assist him in doing so. Amy is looking forward to her next date with Levi, but she is irritated when he cancels on her without explanation. Ned tells that she is sad because Nicolette has gone missing and Levi is assisting with the hunt. Amy is warming up to Levi as a result of this; has Ned just shot himself in the foot?
Jesse is a fan of curries
Jesse is anxious to rebuild some bridges, and he manages to do it in an unexpected manner. When Harlow hears that the Quills purchased the shady property, she sets out on a mission to find Jesse and figure out what was going on. He admits that after growing disillusioned with the frauds, he set his family up. Is there a road ahead for them now that he’s endeared himself to Harlow?
David opts for violence
When Chloe finds Leo, he verifies that they didn’t do the dance in their underwear, so it’s a race to Nic. They’re too late; she’s packed her belongings and left in the time it took them to figure out their narrative.
When David learns of how badly things have gone, all because of Leo, he loses his cool. He slams his fist into Leo’s face, releasing his rage.
When Aaron realises this, he unleashes his fury on his sister. This is a shattered family, but will they be able to put their differences aside long enough to find a vulnerable Nicolette?
Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, August 16th.
