Sam Frost from Home And Away is not just brilliant and attractive, but she’s also hilarious and doesn’t take herself too seriously, as her isolated journal demonstrates.
So it was no surprise to see the Summer Bay star on Fitzy and Wippa’s radio show this morning, happily participating in a prank devised by the hosts.
After the government established a singles bubble for individuals locked up alone in Sydney this week, Fitzy and Wippa asked Sam to pretend to call Wippa’s manager, Mark, to see if he had any celebrity clients she could isolate with.
“I’m obviously single, and I was wondering if you had any single individuals on your books who may be interested in going for a walk before I say let’s just move in!” Sam got the ball rolling.
“Since I think it’s simply easier with someone who has a profile because they already know what you’re looking for, rather than some Rando you met on Tinder or something!”
“Well, that’s a fascinating request; I must say, I’ve never received one before,” Mark explained. She adds, “Look, I’ll have to think about who…”
Sam had a different celebrity in mind, it seems: Sunrise weatherman, Sam Mac.
She said, “What about Sam Mac, is he on your books?”
Mark had to advise the actress, politely, that the weatherman had already been scheduled.
The 31-year-old then went on to claim that Wippa, a radio personality, was part of the ruse, which quickly revealed Mark’s deception.
From her brief engagement with Bachelor Blake Garvey in 2014 to finding love with Sasha Mielczarek while on The Bachelorette in 2015 to her most recent relationship with Dave Bashford, which ended in 2020, Australia has been rooting for the actress to find love.
Sam revealed how tough it is to manage her love life in the limelight in a recent interview with TV WEEK.
“I understand why people are curious in my dating life because I was on the Bachelor and Bachelorette… but I don’t have much to say right now,” she explained.
“As I learn more about myself,” she joked, “I suppose I’ve tried to keep it [her love life] a little more secret.” “And there have been instances when I’ve spoken too soon about things, and people have asked, ‘What’s going on?’”
