Melanie is startled by the arrival of Toadie’s former assistant and ex-girlfriend, Rose Walker, on next week’s Neighbours in the UK!
These episodes will begin airing on Monday, September 6th.
Anyone who knows Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) knows he hasn’t always had the best luck with love.
Of course, there’s the story of his two wives, Dee (Madeleine West) and Sonya (Eve Morey), one of whom died tragically and the other who was thought dead for over two decades.
His love life, on the other hand, has just been a complete disaster over the past several years! Short-term relationships with a variety of women have repeatedly left the father of two sad. Now that he’s finally achieved some stability, it appears that a ghost (or ex!) from his past may be returning to sabotage everything.
Melanie Pearson’s (Lucinda Cowden) connections with her supervisors throughout the years have been revealed during the previous few weeks. Toadie has began to wonder whether he is simply another notch on her belt now that she has made it apparent that she clearly has a thing for bosses.
But the lawyer is more concerned about whether Melanie’s emotions for him are genuine. Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) is obliged to convey the news that the disaster is costing them business.
Toadie is disappointed. After years of developing a devoted customer base, the businesses and individuals who have put their faith in him are abandoning him, and it’s all because of Melanie.
Mackenzie sees an opportunity with the film festival approaching Lassiters. She provides Toadie with a strategy after realizing the importance of excellent PR for the company. A sponsorship arrangement with the forthcoming event is involved. She sends an email to the PR manager, but when she receives a response, she discovers something shocking.
The person in charge, unfortunately for the eager legal assistant, is none other than Rose Walker (Lucy Durack)!
For those who don’t remember, Rose was Toadie’s helper approximately a year ago, with whom he had a romantic connection. While the two got along swimmingly, it wasn’t meant to be. He was her estranged husband’s divorce lawyer, therefore she had only taken the position because he was her estranged husband’s divorce lawyer!
Mackenzie makes every effort to reach Toadie in order to give him advance notice, but she is unsuccessful. Rose has previously traveled to Erinsborough and finds exactly what she is searching for in a short amount of time.
When she sees him with Melanie at Harold’s, she says, “Jarrod?”
He’s taken aback; he can’t believe she’s returned to town. But he isn’t the only one who is taken aback by her appearance… Melanie takes the initiative right away, introducing herself as Toadie’s “new squeeze.”
Melanie first believes she has nothing to be concerned about, but after speaking with Hendrix and Mackenzie, she has reason to be concerned. Despite Mackenzie’s best efforts to keep the truth hidden, Hendrix spills the beans, and Melanie discovers that the two had more than a business connection.
Melanie is taken aback by the news and is a little disappointed that she was unaware of Toadie’s connection with his prior assistant. Is he the one who has a personality type?
Toadie and Rose finish their first festival planning session as darkness falls. Moving on to personal things, they talk about the kids, and Toadie informs her that Nell (Scarlett Anderson) is currently very interested in dance. Rose is relieved to hear it, but things quickly get uncomfortable when Melanie arrives.
Melanie tells Rose that Nell’s favorite dancing move is a whirl and a point.
Rose, who is overjoyed, says that she was the one who taught Nell that.
Melanie tries to back peddle, seeming embarrassed. Melanie grits her teeth and gives Rose a swift glance up and down as she excuses herself and walks away.
She remarks to an unsuspecting Toadie, “She seems so beautiful.”
Melanie is clearly scared by Rose’s presence in Erinsborough. Will her coming cause further problems for the couple at this tumultuous moment in their relationship?
Other than that, the drama between Levi (Richie Morris), Amy (Jacinta Stapleton), and Ned (Ben Hall) continue…
Levi’s birthday is approaching, and Sheila (Colette Mann) has planned a family celebration for her adored grandson. He had no intention of inviting Amy to visit because of her unfavorable attitude toward his polyamorous relationship, but when his grandma recommends it, he leaps at the chance.
Unfortunately for him, he is unaware that Sheila has also chosen to invite Ned.
Levi can’t believe his eyes when Ned and Amy both arrive there. The trio, on the other hand, decides to beat Sheila at her own game and play up the romance.
But when Sheila makes one too many nasty remarks, Amy breaks loose!
