It’s been a long time coming, but Harlow (Jemma Donovan) is ready to receive her comeuppance on Neighbours.
Harlow has been getting under Chloe’s (April Rose Pengilly) skin at Lassiters, taking advantage of her position as the boss’s granddaughter and getting away with things she wouldn’t dream of. Chloe, on the other hand, is enraged when Harlow is promoted over her due to nepotism rather than merit.
Harlow, on the other hand, is having a great time. She has a new position, a lot of responsibilities, and numerous employees to manage. It’s a wonderful life. However, when she approaches a project in a cack-handed, screams-of-lack-of-experience manner, she begins to realise the flaw in her methods. That does not, however, imply that she will resign.
However, it won’t be her decision for much longer. The workforce at Lassiters is fed up with Harlow’s unskilled and heavy-handed attitude, and a rebellion is brewing among the ranks. Chloe rushes to HR to try to topple Harlow, and the manager advises Paul to revoke Harlow’s promotion or face a revolt. Paul, being Paul, refuses to be instructed what to do. Terese is enraged by this, as she can tell that things are heating up.
Terese has every reason to be enraged; she has learned that the workforce is organizing a walkout over Harlow’s new position and she has no idea what to do.
The staff’s striking strategy is successful – Harlow’s employment is abruptly taken away from her, and she is sent to the wash room. It’s a difficult life lesson, but she requested it. Nonetheless, she is not yet prepared to accept it.
Chloe advises her to keep a low profile, but to a bull, that’s a red rag. She considers Chloe solely accountable for her fall from grace and has no intention of letting her off the hook. What will she do if she has vengeance on her mind and Chloe is the target?
Scenes will premiere on Channel 5 on Monday, September 20th.
