Neighbours Spoilers – Harlow and Jesse grow closer, but he’s hiding a secret…

Paul sees an opportunity to assist Harlow get over Brent on next week’s Neighbours in the UK. However, after setting the two up on a date, Harlow appears to be on the verge of having her heart crushed for the second time.

These episodes will begin airing on Monday, July 19th.

When Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) wanted to spice up the world’s longest fitness competition, he had no idea he’d end up with a prospective suitor for his granddaughter.

When it comes to her romantic life, Harlow (Jemma Donovan) has been through the ringer. After breaking up with her long-term lover Hendrix (Benny Turland), she now has to deal with long-distance dating with Brent (Texas Watterston).

So when Paul saw that bartender Jesse (Cameron Robbie) may be the right fit, he leapt at the chance to pair them up. It was moving her shift last week so she could be with Jesse. It’s something a bit more evident this week.

Paul feels more persuaded than ever that he is the perfect suitor for his granddaughter after watching Harlow and Jesse laughing together in the Waterhole.

Soon after, Paul and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) talk about Harlow perhaps taking over as her executive assistant. After all, Harlow is in desperate need of a new direction, and Chloe (April Rose Pengilly), who is assisting Leo (Tim Kano) on the winery project, has to take a step back from Lassiters.

When it comes to pitching the concept to Harlow, Paul and Terese can’t say enough good things about her. She has excellent organisational skills and has excelled in many of the job’s requirements. Despite her delight, they request that she take some time to ponder the offer.

Paul arranges for Jesse to meet him at the Waterhole the next morning. When Harlow arrives, though, she quickly realises he’s up to something.

Paul explains that EA’s job is to bridge the gap between employees and management. As a result, he’s scheduled a lunch with her and Jesse so she can get a feel for the part.

Jesse begins to doubt the meal after Paul has left.

“So your grandfather wants me to give you criticism on your staff?” he asks a perplexed Harlow. She expresses her doubts by telling him she thinks he’s attempting to set them up.

Slowly, the topic shifts away from Paul and onto Harlow and Brent. Harlow confesses that it’s more difficult than she anticipated, and she’d be lying if she claimed she didn’t have any concerns, but she misses him.

Harlow seizes the chance to sneak a short look at a snapshot of herself and Brent when Jesse has a run-in with a glass of water. As she takes in the joy of the shot, her emotions are intense.

Curtis (Nathan Borg) enters the pub, interrupting Harlow’s reverie, and she offers him to join her, but he rejects, claiming that he has other arrangements.

Jesse wants to learn more about the position Harlow has been given when he returns. Jesse, clearly undecided, inquires about her preference for housework. She’s a quick negotiator.

Jesse realises how much power she has and advises she utilise it to her advantage, pushing for more green projects and even distracting herself from Brent.

Harlow thinks his ideas are sound. She can’t help but smile when she sees his smile.

She tells him, “I’m loving this, sitting here, chatting to you.”

And it’s evident that they share the same sentiment.

Harlow accepts the position when she returns from her “date,” as Paul refers to it. She just wants Paul and Terese to agree on one thing: the proposal of additional cost-effective and environmentally friendly projects.

They are both certain that it is a fantastic idea. She has also made a choice regarding herself and Brent. She is planning to end her relationship with him. It’s a difficult decision for her, but Paul appears to be delighted by the news. It is, in his opinion, the correct option.

“You’ve made two really smart judgments today,” Paul tells Harlow.

It’s a cathartic moment, yet there’s a feeling Harlow is concealing something.

She tells Terese that Jesse is boyfriend potential later that day. She’s clearly smitten with the bartender.

Jesse, on the other hand, welcomes Curtis in Harold’s and the two discuss the menu. What appears to be platonic rapidly transforms into something more, and it becomes apparent that the two are having a love relationship.

Is Harlow telling the truth, or is she in for another heartbreak?
