Neighbours’ Next week, Curtis Perkins will be devastated after learning the truth about his secret love Jesse Porter.
Jesse (Cameron Robbie), a newcomer to Erinsborough, has been concealing a few secrets from the locals. Not only is he secretly dating Curtis (Nathan Borg), but he’s also maintaining a phoney relationship with Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) and concealing the fact that he’s a Quill family spy who’s been passing on private information about Lassiters to competing hotel owners.
After learning the truth about Jesse’s connection to the Quills, Harlow, Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson), and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) plan to give Jesse false information in the hopes that he would pass it on to their foes.
Harlow will continue to offer false information to Jesse in scenes to broadcast next week, with Paul and Roxy serving as the demons on her shoulder. Harlow believes her work is done once the ruse succeeds, but she is disturbed when Paul says he wants to take things further.
Harlow is beginning to feel the strain of keeping up her charade later in the week, while Jesse chooses to break up with Curtis, leaving Curtis sad.
When Hendrix Grayson (Ben Turland) learns that Jesse and Curtis have been secretly dating, he is taken aback and believes that Jesse is cheating on Harlow, unknowing that their relationship is a ruse.
Hendrix confides in Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) about what he’s learned, and Mackenzie sadly tells Harlow what he’s learned. Harlow tries to keep up the pretence that she and Jesse are sincere, despite the fact that she is well aware that things are becoming increasingly complex.
Hendrix subsequently informs Curtis that Jesse has been having an affair with someone else. Curtis is furious when he discovers Jesse outside the hotel and confronts him about his falsehoods.
Heartbroken Curtis loses control of his fury and pushes Jesse over. Is Jesse going to be okay, and is his relationship with Curtis truly over?
