Summer Bay is going to be rocked by a shocking automobile accident.
One or more of Summer Bay’s favorite characters’ lives are in peril in a new teaser for the show’s mid-season finale as the car crashes and threatens to tip off a cliff.
Who is in the automobile is, of course, the question we all want addressed.
Well, eagle-eyed admirers have discovered some intriguing hints and hypotheses.
Leaked images from the set, which show the male victim on a stretcher, are even more essential to our enquiry.
Let’s take a look at the two most popular hypotheses.
Nikau
Bella and Nikau have had a rocky relationship recently, to say the least, when the aspiring model cheated on his fiancée and shattered her heart.
Nikau makes an effort to attend Bella’s large photography event in the city.
Bella yells at him in the teaser, “You are not coming to the city!”
“I can drive you there,” he says before continuing.
Maybe he ignores Bella’s wishes and goes behind the wheel anyway?
Fans appear to agree.
One comments, “It’s Nikau in Dean’s car…” before adding, “Whoever it is, they’re tall…”
Nikau, I say.”
Ziggy & Dean
The most compelling piece of evidence pointing to Dean’s involvement appears to be self-evident: he owns the red car.
Dean coaxes Ziggy away from the festivities in the teaser before they go off together.
Viewers may hear faint pleas for aid after the car has crashed; while we don’t know who they belong to, we can safely assume they belong to a lady – Ziggy, perhaps?
One fan said, “I suppose Dean, even if some claim it’s not because of a missing arm tattoo, but his arm is bandaged and he wears those shoes and drives a red Commodore.”
Others reported seeing the Summer Bay figure walking around on crutches, implying that the injury was caused by the collision.
“Also hear Dean in there,” one fan speculated, “as he was filming on crutches so not sure if it has anything to do with the collision or not.”
