Bella’s (Courtney Miller) and Nikau’s (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) relationship has been put to the test in recent weeks as Nikau’s modelling career takes off and he spends time away from her on photoshoots, while she concentrates on her photography internship and an approaching show with Emmett (JR Reyne).
Nikau (Rose Riley) is running late for the exhibition preview on opening night, and Sienna (Rose Riley) takes advantage of the couple’s split by enticing him to her apartment and sends Allegra (Laura McDonald) to the event instead.
When Allegra arrives, she takes Bella’s phone from the bar and pretends to be Bella, messaging Nikau, claiming the show will start later and there’s no need to rush. Later, she notices Bella and Emmett conversing outside, their faces close together, and takes a shot of them.
Meanwhile, Nikau is worried about getting to Bella at the apartment when Sienna receives a picture message from Allegra. She shows a devastated Nikau a snapshot of what appears to be Bella and Emmett ready to kiss, looking crestfallen.
Sienna takes advantage of the opportunity to attack on a weak Nikau, kissing him and enticing him into the bedroom.
Nikau wakes up close to his boss in the morning and realizes what a terrible mistake he’s made. He has no idea how he’ll explain this to Bella.
