Jasmine (Sam Frost) was just brought to the hospital after collapsing as a result of the food truck explosion, and she has been sedated. When Christian (Ditch Davey) goes to check on her, he informs Tori (Penny McNamee) that he is going to contact Irene (Lynne McGranger) because he wants to attempt to wake her up.
When Irene comes, she is concerned that when Jasmine wakes up, she will not be the same. Christian gradually removes her life support, and Jasmine begins to breathe on her own. When she wakes up, though, she has no recollection of the accident.
Christian claims that post-traumatic amnesia is common, but it becomes obvious after a while that Jasmine is unable to recall the information that has just been provided to her. Irene simply wants to know when she will be able to function normally again, but Christian is unable to provide any specific answers as he sends Jasmine out for further scans.
Irene and Jasmine are taken aback when they learn that Rachel has been rushed back to the hospital, but Jasmine’s brain resets minutes later and she wonders how Rachel is doing all over again. Irene remains with her overnight, but she is terrified when Jasmine awakens unexpectedly and attempts to flee the hospital.
When Christian comes to check on Jasmine the next morning, she is still bewildered and attempting to keep everyone away from her.
However, the neurosurgeon begins to believe she is suffering from absence seizures, a difficult type of epilepsy to diagnose.
What does this imply for Jasmine’s future?
