After beginning his career as Josh Willis on Neighbours, he joined the cast of Home and Away early this year.
Harley Bonner has shrugged off allegations that he is Summer Bay’s new resident hottie,’ saying that the show’s muscular stars frighten him.
Harley, 30, who plays trauma surgeon, Dr. Logan Bennet, told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday, ‘I feel like Frodo Baggins in that cast.’
He said, ‘They are such a good-looking set of individuals – big, powerful males.’
While Neighbours is located in the suburban Melbourne cul-de-sac of Ramsay Street, the cast of Home and Away’s Summer Bay flaunts their muscular muscles on a regular basis at the beach.
After confessing that he was a “chubby child growing up,” Harley admitted that he sometimes feels “timid” filming in swimwear.
‘Fortunately, we have a lot of big muscly men that they [the spectators] can focus on more than myself,’ he joked.
Despite being one of the slimmer members of the cast, Harley claimed he enjoys every minute of his time on the Channel Seven serial and feels “at home.”
Harley’s mother, Carla Bonner, starred as Stephanie Scully in Neighbours from 1999 to 2010 and again from 2015 to 2018.
Harley has previously starred in shows such as House Husbands and Creative Kids in Australia.
He is dating Natalie Roser, a 30-year-old fashion model and businesswoman.
Since February 2017, the pair has been together.
