What’s next in Summer Bay?
Next week on Home and Away, high drama surrounds Bella’s photography exhibition as Nikau gatecrashes the occasion and spots something surprising.
Elsewhere, Kieran comes under suspicion when Jasmine collapses, while Christian plans a romantic proposal.

Chloe considers a fresh start
Bella and Chloe are still at odds, with Chloe disapproving of Bella’s decision to remove Nikau out of her life. Following the death of the food truck, Chloe is soon sidetracked by her own problems.
Ryder advises Chloe to look for a new job at the Diner. Chloe initially dismisses the idea, but she quickly realizes that she may have no other choice.
Chloe inquires about the potential of picking up some shifts, but when Marilyn insists on handing in her CV, she realizes the process will be more difficult than she anticipated.
Mia and Ari both encourage Chloe to take the job search more seriously, so she starts preparing her CV to show the Diner team.
When Mia and Ari go to Mia’s ultrasound and see their kid up on the screen, they are also looking forward to the future. When Mia and Ari bring the ultrasound tape home, Chloe gets to see the baby.
Meanwhile, Irene is undecided about Chloe’s suitability for the Diner, but Marilyn defends her as an excellent candidate. Ryder and Ari are both ecstatic when Chloe gets the job.
Martha makes a surprise return
Alf reappears in the Bay after travelling to Merimbula to hand over Kieran’s letter to Martha. Roo is keen to know how Martha reacted to the letter and whether she’s prepared to forgive Kieran.
Alf doesn’t need to answer as Martha has now returned home too. Martha surprises Roo by revealing that it’s time for a stern chat about the Kieran situation.
Martha and Kieran have a frosty reunion
Roo is chastised by Martha for allowing Kieran to stay when she had earlier stated that she wasn’t ready for him back in her life. When Martha unwillingly agrees to meet with Kieran, she listens to him as he apologizes for his previous behavior and says all the right things.
Despite this, Martha is plainly irritated with her disturbed son and gives no indication of how she feels. Martha affirms her distrust of Kieran once she is alone with Alf.
Kieran makes a mistake with Jasmine
Kieran is concerned that Martha may not want to be in a relationship with him, and Jasmine continues to encourage him. When Martha may still require time, Jasmine advises Kieran not to anticipate the worst.
When Kieran misinterprets Jasmine’s goodwill and tries to kiss her, things get even worse for him. Kieran rushes away as Jasmine rejects him. When Jasmine pursues him, he becomes enraged and yells at her to leave him alone.
Kieran is blamed as Jasmine collapses
When Jasmine runs into Kieran again, he apologizes for his earlier harsh reaction. He reveals that his counsellor encouraged him to get out of unpleasant situations, which is why he flew away.
Just as Jasmine and Kieran are about to reconcile, Jasmine has a seizure and collapses to the ground, which is concerning. When Alf and Martha come by, Kieran tries valiantly to rescue Jasmine, but Alf misinterprets the situation and suspects Kieran of injuring her.
Martha is urged by Alf to contact an ambulance and the police. Jasmine, on the other hand, promptly clears Kieran’s name after regaining consciousness by describing her recent medical diagnosis.
Kieran continues to hold himself responsible for Jasmine’s health scare, claiming that she neglected to take her medication after the kiss drama. Finally, Martha decides she can’t keep bothering Irene and Jasmine with Kieran any longer, so she grudgingly invites him to remain with her.
Emmett delays the inevitable
Emmett tells Mackenzie about his plans to relocate to New York in search of a new job. Mackenzie is pleased for Emmett, but she is concerned about Bella’s reaction to the news that her mentor would be leaving town.
Emmett should tell Bella the truth sooner rather than later, Mackenzie believes, but he continues passing up opportunities to do so. Mackenzie tells Emmett that waiting until the last minute to make the announcement could lead to difficulties.
Christian reveals a proposal plan
After a rough few months, two Summer Bay couples are striving to get back to normal. Following the turmoil of Justin’s painkiller addiction and Susie’s murder, Justin and Leah are still working on their relationship. Tori and Christian, meantime, are striving to move on from Christian’s obsession with Rachel.
While Leah and Tori confide in each other about their individual relationships over a beer at Salt, Justin and Christian do the same.
Christian is already trying to solidify his reunion with Tori by asking her to marry him again, while Justin isn’t sure how to heal things between him and Leah. With a grand proposal plan, he expects to seal the sale.
Tori has to take a leap of faith
Leah and Justin move forward
Justin makes an attempt to spend the night with Leah for the first time in a long time, but she declines since she is still not ready. Justin is sympathetic and agrees to respect Leah’s boundaries, as well as never putting their relationship in jeopardy again.
Justin is finally back to his old self, and Leah surprises him with a kiss. As the two walk into their bedroom together, it appears that their problem is finally behind them.
John receives his money back
When the bank agrees to compensate John for the money Susie stole, John is overjoyed. However, he still feels bad about being duped by Susie in the first place and decides not to keep the money.
To make up for their own Susie-related losses, John gives Leah and Justin the money, but they refuse. After that, John realizes that he’ll have to devise a new strategy, but he makes it obvious to Cash that he doesn’t intend to keep the money.
John struggles to get closure
John discusses the notion of donating the funds to Susie’s other victims with Cash. Cash investigates but then emphasizes that the fraud squad would not reveal the names of the people involved because of confidentiality concerns.
Instead, John swears to track them down through the fraud watch site, but Cash warns him against it because he might fall into another con.
Ziggy’s feelings for Dean start to return
Justin is taken aback when he notices Ziggy staring lovingly at Dean. She confesses that it would be difficult if she, Dean, and Tane all travel to the city together the next day for Bella’s show.
Ziggy also admits that she has been rethinking the circumstances behind her breakup with Dean. This is because, in response to Ziggy’s dispute with Tane, Mia recently reminded her that no one is perfect.
Despite the fact that Mia was talking to Tane, Ziggy has realized that her remarks may very well apply to Dean. She’s starting to wonder if she made the right decision when she dumped Dean a few months ago.
Ziggy gives into temptation
Tane has to pull out of attending the exhibition at the last minute in order to deal with Nikau, who’s in a bad place and has been hassling Bella again. This means that Dean and Ziggy have to travel to the city alone.
When Dean and Ziggy initially arrive, they focus on helping Bella, but the constant conversation about photography quickly bores them. Dean playsfully persuades Ziggy to accompany him, and it’s not long before they’re caught up in the moment, passionately kissing.
Nikau catches Ziggy out
Nikau is still determined to get Bella back and rides Ari’s motorcycle to the exhibition, despite the fact that he knows he won’t be welcomed. When Nikau sees Dean and Ziggy kissing, he realizes his uncle Tane has been betrayed.
Nikau chooses not to meddle since he prefers to focus on Bella, but it’s only a matter of time before he spills the beans.
Dean has an important question to ask Ziggy
Dean pulls away from the kiss to ask Ziggy whether this means she has finally forgiven him for his role in Ross’s murder cover-up. Clearly put on the spot, Ziggy hesitates and is unable to answer.
Dean is heartbroken all over again and heads off in his car, unwilling to take things any further with Ziggy if she can’t move on from the past.
Nikau causes a scene at the exhibition
Nikau’s arrival at the exhibition concerns Mackenzie and Emmett, who both want him to leave. Bella also tries to deal with Nikau, telling him to go away.
Nikau refuses to back down and causes a scene by grabbing the microphone on the stage and trying to make a speech about Bella. When Emmett tries to stop Nikau, things get out of hand as Nikau shoves him off the stage and tries to goad Emmett into hitting him.
