Nikau is under additional strain, Christian is shaken by a shocking death, and Jasmine suffers from post-explosion memory loss.
Christian’s world is flipped upside down next week on Home and Away as he realises he has made a horrible mistake.

- Jasmine has trouble remembering things
Following her role in the explosion, Jasmine is taken off life support. When baby begins to breathe on her own, Christian and Irene are both relieved.
When Jasmine regains consciousness, she has no recollection of the explosion that sent her to the hospital. While this is understandable, Christian is concerned when he shares the knowledge with Jasmine and she promptly forgets about it.
- Rachel passes away
Christian spends some time with Rachel before she is discharged from the hospital, removing her head brace. Rachel is torn about leaving Christian, having formed love feelings for him during their time together as doctor and patient.
Rachel is looking forwards to a new beginning as she prepares to leave Summer Bay, but she is hit by a car on the road in a strange accident. As a result, she is re-admitted to the hospital, with Christian as her new doctor.
Christian does everything he can to save Rachel’s life, but he is unable to work any miracles this time. Rachel passes away horribly, and Tori is forced to intervene by calling a time of death.
- Justin is jolted awake
When Justin learns about the tragic automobile accident, he becomes terrified. He knows he went out and got additional drugs around the time of the collision, then passed out on the side of the road.
Justin confides in Leah, who investigates and discovers that he was not responsible for Rachel’s death. The news comes as a tremendous relief to Justin, who gets caught up in the moment and admits that he’s a painkiller addict.
- Christian confronts his remorse
Christian is devastated at Rachel’s death. He had to acknowledge that he was never meant to save Rachel’s life, and that fate had nothing to do with the events of the previous several weeks. Christian must now confront the truth that he unintentionally damaged his relationship with Tori.
Tori is relieved to see Christian returning to his former self, but she is quickly sidetracked by problems at home. Despite the fact that Justin has admitted to his addiction, he refuses to seek professional assistance and instead decides to go cold turkey at the Morgan residence.
Both Tori and Leah try to persuade Justin to alter his mind, but he refuses.
- Justin scares Leah once more
Justin’s first night of quitting smoking turns into a nightmare as he loses his cool and begins destroying items around the house. Leah refuses to participate and escapes. The circumstance, on the other hand, begins to pull Tori and Christian closer together once more.
Justin meets up with Leah the next day, who urges him to take his rehabilitation more seriously. When Justin chooses to seek for a treatment centre where he may get expert help, Leah is overjoyed.
- Jasmine makes an attempt to leave the hospital
Jasmine’s memory resets every now and again. She forgets about the explosion no matter how many times Christian and Irene remind her about it, and she has no idea why she’s in the hospital.
When Christian tells Jasmine and Irene of Rachel’s death, it’s a very heartbreaking time. Both are heartbroken, but Jasmine quickly forgets and inquires about Rachel.
Jasmine later tries to escape the hospital amid further chaos. Irene pulls her aside and tries to explain why Jasmine is there again again.
- A diagnosis is given to Jasmine
Christian intensifies his efforts to learn more about Jasmine’s health. He quickly discovers that she is suffering from absence seizures, which explains why her memory is constantly reset.
Christian reassures Jasmine and Irene that with the appropriate medicine, these memory resets should become less painful. When Jasmine’s health improves, his prediction comes true.
- Christian and Tori are getting along
Christian and Tori have returned to the hospital elevator, where their romantic relationship began.
Christian asks Tori to supper, implying that baby Grace could join them. Are they one step closer to restoring their romance if Tori accepts?
- Ryder and Chloe are given some awful news
Following the food truck explosion, Ryder travels into the city to speak with the insurance company. He and Chloe are still optimistic about resurrecting their company.
Regrettably, Ryder must later inform Chloe that the insurance company would not compensate her for the incident. Their chances of reviving the company appear to be limited.
- Roo gets a distressing message
Following his return to Summer Bay, Roo is happy with Kieran’s improvement. She hasn’t informed Alf or Martha, who are still in Merimbula, that Kieran has returned.
When Roo receives a note from her parents, they vow to return within days, the problem comes to a head.
- Tane gives some bad news to Kieran
Kieran is hoping to be rehired at the gym and asks Tane if there are any openings. Tane offers to check into it and then asks Irene for Kieran’s details.
John is quick to jump in and fill in the blanks concerning Kieran’s previous time in the Bay. Tane eventually decides against hiring Kieran.
Kieran becomes enraged by the circumstances, and flashes of his former personality emerge. Roo cautions Kieran that he’s reverting to old habits, but she’s relieved when he takes a minute to consider what she’s saying.
- Ziggy is adamant about not forgiving Mac
Mac has rehired Ryder at Salt and is considering returning Chloe to her previous position. Mac, on the other hand, is unsure if she wants to deal with the Parata family again, so Dean advises her to divert her peacemaking efforts elsewhere for the time being.
Mac approaches Ziggy and attempts to mend their relationship, but Ziggy refuses to accept her apologies. Dean attempts to persuade Ziggy to let Mac off the hook, but she refuses.
- Justin is detained
While travelling to Yabbie Creek, Justin gets stopped by the cops. Amy Peters and Cash Newman insist on checking his car because they believe there is evidence connected to Susie’s murder inside.
When the police discover a broken phone in Justin’s car and take it in for forensic investigation, he is shocked.
Following his detention, Justin is subjected to yet another round of questioning at the station. He suffers since he’s still suffering from withdrawal symptoms, but he makes every effort to prove his innocence.
Throughout the conversation, Cash gets increasingly concerned about Justin’s health, which irritates Amy. Cash finally insists on taking Justin to the hospital.
- A tip comes in for John
When John and Stephen go to the police station, they fight Justin’s corner and convince Cash that the cops are accusing the wrong guy. Amy continues to employ unorthodox methods, interrupting the heated debate and invites John into her office for a meeting.
Amy informs John that Justin’s car had critical evidence, and the police have every cause to suspect him. John is obviously taken aback and begins to doubt Justin’s innocence.
- In Sienna’s games, Nikau is a pawn
When Sienna invites Bella to be the photographer for his newest photoshoot, which has a streetwear theme, Nikau feels uneasy. Sienna is clearly trying to keep the pressure on Nikau, making him feel that she may reveal their secret at any moment.
Tane gets concerned about Nikau and maintains a tight eye on the shoot, while Nikau is irritated by his interference, especially since Tane wants him to tell Bella the truth.
Allegra confesses that she knows about Nikau’s secret night with Sienna, which is the final straw for Nikau. Will Nikau conclude that telling Bella first is the best option?
